Crinum macowanii is found widely over southern Africa, especially in Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and in South Africa in the provinces of Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Eastern Cape.
This is plant No. 334.B, raised from seed from Silverhill Seeds (South Africa) planted in 1997. The foliage is deep blue-green, glaucous, with slightly wavy margins. There were 21 buds in this umbel.
