Another week has gone by and here we are ready to lift the veil from our celebrities. Things are going very well and I am thinking of moving them out of the snake pit and into the free world.
1) In the first photo the green felt tip pen can still be seen round the micropore, here we have 4 with dark bases and 18 with green bases, hopefully indicating yellows.
2) For comparison in this photo we have another pot of 22 seeds that were planted the same day. There is one with a dark base, the others are all green which is a good sign as they all come from a yellow parent and the offspring will ? be more yellow than other colours. Join me in 5 years as we follow these plants and when they flower, we will see what happened.
3) I have tried to show the dark bases, they are the left hand vertical row, 3 of them and one in the second row.
4)This photo shows me indicating the green base. I will try and take better photos when they are being transplanted.
I thought of keeping our marked seed in the original container and transplanting the other lot into a bigger pot to compare the two as they grow, transplanted ones and not disturbed ones.
Hope it is clear enough.
Cheers,
Loukie
